Ecology: Mostly epiphytic orchid growing on trunks of trees like Terminalia billirica & Mangifera indica also found growing in shady places on humus rich soil in ever green forest
Tuber: 1 oblong about 2x1cm lateral roots above tuber develops into secondary tuber
Leaves 4to 5 clustered at the base of the stem 5x2cm oblong elliptic or oblanceolate somewhat tapering at the base
Scape 5 -15cm cylindrical covered by bracts, green
Inflorescence Raceme, 4 to 5 flowered
Flower: 3 to 4cm across shortly pedicellate bracteate white
Bracts 2x0.5mm oblong lanceolate sub acuminate shorter than ovary
Sepals: sub equal greenish white 3 nerved
